With Christmas just around the corner, we have lots of festive work today at BE Event Furniture Hire. James has been out and about in the vans today delivering tables, chairs and benches to many Christmas events including the Lincoln Christmas Market.
Tony has managed to avoid the snow while collecting 500 wooden folding wooden benches from London while Andy has been delivering more furniture hire to Melton Mowbray, Leicester and Loughborough.
We have also just purchased more furniture for our ever increasing hire stock to include more black and white dance floors and bar stools that will be listed onto our event hire website over the next few days.

Lincoln Christmas Market
The Lincoln Christmas Market is probably one of the country’s best-known seasonal markets, drawing visitors with its festive charm, unique stalls, and historical setting in Lincoln’s medieval square. Typically held over four days, it featured around 150 stalls offering food, drinks, crafts, and holiday gifts and attracted over 350,000 visitors.
However, in 2023, the market was cancelled due to safety and overcrowding concerns. The City of Lincoln Council replaced it with smaller events yearly to manage crowds and ensure safety. Despite these new activities, many locals and businesses have called for the market’s return, highlighting its cultural and economic importance.
Although the traditional market is no longer held (Still being Debated), Lincoln still offers a festive atmosphere with various holiday events and activities in the Cathedral Quarter and other historic areas during the holiday season.
